Dragonfish Hatch

Dragonfish is the first two-way functional hatch, ideal for capitalizing on airflow when moored in a slip or using stern anchors. Out patentented hatch is interchangeable with standard Size 60 flush hatches. With a low-profile flush design, this product looks clean and smooth on deck.
 
Designed to military specifications, this hatch can stand up to daily abuse. All components and the hinge mechanism are safely enclosed inside the watertight seal and applies the most advanced manufacturing techniques available. 
 
Each part is constructed of durable aluminum and hard anodized for a robust finish that protects against wear and corrosion. No detail was overlooked in the design:
 The threads contain a special insert of phosphor bronze which is ideal for saltwater applications.
There are no rivets or welds in the design. You can take the entire assembly apart to repair using only an allen wrench.
The acrylic panel is machined from extra thick plate and incorporates strengthening features. Meaning you can stand on this hatch without the risk of breaking.
The hinge is held open by friction created within the joints that is defined by Lionfish Tech’s patent pending design. This hatch can never work itself loose. No more tightening your loose friction hinge or replacing corroded hatch components. And forget dropping that hatch when you are sneaking out of the skipper coffin in the morning.
